WSP Diagonals to Quadrilaterals

  • Diagonals to Quadrilaterals

    Grade: High School

This interactive allows users to investigate three types of quadrilaterals; ones with: perpendicular bisectors, congruent perpendicular bisectors, and congruent bisectors.

    How to Use

    • Use the red points each quadrilateral to rotate and dilate the shape.
    • You can drag shapes around the workspace by dragging a side of the quadrilateral.

    Buttons

    • The show/hide buttons will display or hide the specified bisectors along with measurements.

    Exploration

    • Which quadrilateral(s) have perpendicular bisectors?
      • Which of those quadrilateral(s) have congruent perpendicular bisectors?
    • Which quadrilateral(s) have congruent bisectors?
