You can view six different graphs with this tool. Each graph plots one characteristic of the square (side length, diagonal length, perimeter, or area) along the horizontal axis and another along the vertical axis. Points are plotted as the size of the square changes.
Can you determine which two characteristics are used to make each graph?

Click any of the Show Graph buttons to highlight a particular set of data. A point will appear on the screen, and this point will change locations as the size of the square changes.
Drag points C or D to change the size of the square.
Click the X in the lower right corner to clear all traces from the graph. Note that this X will only appear after a trace has been drawn; it will not appear if the graph is blank.
The red dot at the origin can be moved to reposition the coordinate grid. The red dot at (1, 0) can be dragged to increase or decrease the spacing of the grid. (Note: After resizing, residual traces may still appear. Click the X to remove them.)
